THE DOCTOR

This scorching examination of our age, a striking reimagining of the 1912 play Professor Bernhardi by Arthur Schnitzler, utilizes the lens of medical ethics to examine urgent questions of faith, identity, race, gender, privilege, and scientific rationality.

Isuri understudied the roles of Junior, Flint and Sami, and has performed the role of Sami opposite Olivier award winner Juliet Stevenson at the Park Avenue Armory.

Directed by Garrett Allen, the classic assasination play reimagined with race and gender at the forefront of today.

Isuri played the role of Caius Cassius.

HEDDA GABLER

Hedda Gabler dramatizes the experiences of the title character, Hedda, the daughter of a general, who is trapped in a marriage and a house that she does not want.

Isuri played the role of Hedda Gabler.

SHE USED TO BE MINE

Isuri performed an excerpt from "She Used to be Mine" at the Adelphi Class of 2018 Senior Showcase, at Classic Stage Company in New York.

Machinal is a 1928 play by American playwright and journalist Sophie Treadwell, inspired by the real-life case of convicted and executed murderer Ruth Snyder.

SILENT SKY

When Henrietta Leavitt begins to work at the Harvard observatory in the early 1900s, she isn’t allowed to touch a telescope or express an original idea.  Instead, she joins a group of women “computers,” charting the stars for a renowned astronomer who calculates projects in “girl hours” and has no time for the women’s probing theories.  Silent Sky is based on the real life story of Henrietta Leavitt's work and contributions.

Isuri played the role of Scottish powerhouse, Williamina Fleming.
